Vaclav's router setup

On Vaclav's he recommeneds feeding the strips through the router with the force from the direction of the cutter. Everything i have read says DO NOT do this. I have always milled normally but is his setup feasable? He clamps the strips with feather boards so the don't become arrows and shoot across the shop.

It would be real nice to not have to feed each strip by hand.
