Hi Rehd;

Well, having been an editor, I'd have to put a few red marks on punctuation placement, but otherwise you got it! :)

James, where John had had "had," had had "had had." "Had had" had had the teacher's approval.

Or, to make it simpler:

James, where John had had "A," had had "B." "B" had had the teacher's approval.

Hey, this new generation of techno youth (nahhh, I'm not talking about mick, he does his stuff knowingly) can't spell, don't know usage, capitalization, or punctuation! And they (and most anyone else) could care less . . . [g]

BTW, I hafta admit, I kinda like Internet-based usage & controlled spelling deviations . . . as long as it doesn't affect the clarity of the information being transmitted . . . R U OK 2DAY OM?

Best Regards, Spidey

: This came up a few weeks ago, and has ( had ) bugged me for a while. The
: statement was made and punctuation asked: Charlie where Jane had had had
: had had had had had had had had a better effect.

: Here's the answer, where the conversation is talking about the use of the
: word " had " as used in a sentence.

: Charlie, where Jane had had "Had", had had "Had Had";
: "Had Had" had had a better effect.

: Ah, now I can sleep better. You?? :)

: Actually, a " Fireplug/Engineer " friend had come up with it by
: substituting a word in the position of the word "had".

: O.K., back to the strongbench. Nearly complete, with the exception of the
: adjustable ends/sliders. Will be done and posted soon.
