: Hi Guys,

: I need to build an outdoor home for my kayak out of wood for year round
: shelter from the elememnts. My question is - how waterproof will an
: epoxy/plywood "shed" be for my yak under those extended
: circumstances... will the epoxy give way and let moisture seep in causing
: mold and mildew damage? I need a year round waterproof - wood constrcution
: - shed for my yak. How waterproof is epoxy under these circumstances? I
: mean will it eventualy allow moisture to "bleed" thru? {It will
: be painted with marine paint after its built].

: Thanks,

: Pete

I have never heard of fiberglassing a building. It would cost an arm and a leg. I built a nice building using pole barn construction and the pole barn steel painted panels for siding and roofing. These panels are galvanized, painted and baked, and will last two lifetimes.
