My big purchase next year (depending on the stock market) will be a portable saw mill. My parents live on big acreage and there is always a lot of blow down during the winter. Instead of cutting it up for firewood, I’d rather get some nice planks. Since cedar is running @ 3.20 a board ft for clear, it shouldn’t take long for the mill to pay for itself.
