Ive been bootin that idea around, too. There is a $100 version if you have your own saw but that swedish one is a lot better, with the cable pulls. Dont you live in Tigard? Maybe we could work something out...

I have a big pile of oak outside that I chunked up into 6" thick slabs by hand. It'll take several years to dry but it'll be pretty! There are other options, too. Woodmizer et al start at about $3000, and they dont waste nearly the wood that a chainsaw mill does.
