On Pygmy's boats the wires are removed and most people just fill them with epoxy while glassing.This method looks fine, but I used a different method: The wires tend to elongate the holes and when filled with epoxy, look irregular. I used tooth picks to fill all the wire holes. It takes only a short time to fill,snip and sand all of them. The tooth picks look like little wooden plugs. It worked for me.
