: I am looking at building a kayak and have narrowed to these. How do they

: Pygmy? Am I missing good options? I have no woodworking experience, so I
: am only looking at kits.

Hi Eric, I work for CLC so I guess I'm off the hook, I've paddled the Tern just a little bit and can only gather what I've heard about the Guillemot (man with too much time at computer), I believe Nick has a s&g guillemot, if it is similar to the strip built one then it probably is a little more maneuverable than the Tern as well as less volume. Now that you've narrowed it down to those totally different boats,,how about Eric Schades Merganser? I'll be building one with a few other boats, I think it's in between the Tern and Guillemot as far as volume goes,,set me straight guys if I'm wrong.
