: USS Cole is high and dry!
I am trying to devise a way to use similar technology to prevent myself from having to make hard landings in my new Chesapeake 17. (Anything to avoid getting scratches on the bright hull!) There must also potential applications for other rescue techniques, bulkhead development, simpler portages etc. Remember, Velcro, WD-40 and Tang came to us from NASA, so why can't the U.S. Navy help us poor kayakers? I welcome your always well-reasoned suggestions. :-)

Cheers,

Brent Curtis
