Hello--

I got to the shop yesterday and checked out the boat in detail. see the photo.

It seems pretty sound with afew rough patchs...gouges, some rot and gaping seams.

It had some spots filled with bondo and some with sawdust filled glue (resorcinol I think)

From the advice of most of those who responded including at wooden boat's forum, i will reccomend to the customer to re-canvas it, it seems it was once canvased, judging by a row of small nail holes along the shearline nd a bit of canvas trapped by the big eye bolt in the bow.

I took measurements of the boat and should be able to produce fairly a good lines drawing of it if you are interested.
