: Do yourself a favor, fork out the 20 bucks and buy Nick's book. I own both
: books and have worn out the covers on each of them during the construction
: of my Georgian Bay (a Laughing Loon design). The more you can learn about
: the different ways to solve problems, the more enjoyable your building
: experience will be.

You can buy books very cheap at half.com. I just bought Sea Kayaker's Deep Trouble in very good condition for $4.99. It was priced on amazon.com for $14 something.
