I test paddled the Pygmy triple, first using it as a double (figuring on a dog or guest in the middle seat). Then, just to see what it would be like, I solo'ed it from the middle seat. The middle seat is smaller than the other two and I'd be hard pressed to think that two 7 year olds would be happy in it at all, let alone for any extended amount of time. And I'm sure they'd outgrow it very fast. If you then counted on the triple as a double, it would do the job okay. But I ultimately picked the double, knowing that it would be my primary use. The seat placement and wt balance was noticeably better for two than in the triple.
