Ok Roger, here's the vitals:

• Beam (inside at gunwales): 22"
  
• Length: 17' plus a couple of inches for the rubrails/keel
  
• Weight: Ooooh! This is embarassing - 50 lbs
  

Some cockpit stats:

• Inside width: 19"
  
• Inside length: 33.5"
  
• Bow to cockpit rim (inside): ~94"
  
• Stern to cockpit rim (inside) ~74"
  
• Distance from floor panels to bottom of fore deck beam (knee room): 11"
  
• Chine to gunwale distance (at about form #4): 8"
  

I also raised the bow and stern about 4 and 3", respectively. Not sure why I came out so heavy. The canvas and paint added quite a bit (painted the deck 3 times plus the roof paint). That and a substantial amount of the frame, including gunwales and keel, were fir - a very heavy wood. Not a real big deal for me as I usually have someone to help me carry and top my boats, but admittedly not quite what I was expecting.

He! He! Hey Mick - you come up with a good Light traditional boat? I may be looking for one! Then again, Putz mentions the figure 70 lbs! so perhaps I shouldn't feel too bad :-)
