Paul,

I have noticed your comments on Hazen's book and just wanted to let you know that the copy I bought is a revised edition, copywrite 1996.

Hazen begins his section on resin selection, "Epoxy resins have overtaken polyester resins in boatbuilding for good reason." He goes on to discuss the merits and methods of using epoxy, even going so far as to recommend three brands: System Three; Sun Cure; and Cold Cure.

I agree with you that the book is a great value especially given that it includes the full-size plans for several canoes and two kayak models. I would like to see photos of these, if anyone has built one from these plans.
