If I do, I'll probably try something alopng the lines of those Geo-boats you posted the link to a while back. I'm not abandoning my baby yet, though! I also had the thought that my floor panels are about 6' long. There has to be a good amount of weight there (essentially most of a 6' redwood 2x6). You and Roger had much shorter floors. Still, the frame was about 20 lbs before covering (without cockpit/coaming structure). Do you know how much your frame weighed?

As a last thought, don't be too proud of that light boat. It won't help you in the kayak demolition derby . Hmmmm. I'll have to mention that to Joe for R2K+1.
