Thanks to those who offered helpful information. Apologies to those who had to fend off George. I asked the question because I am not an expert on fiberglass cloth. Folks other than engineers do design and build kayaks.

Anyhow, I got the cloth. Picked it up when I picked up my latest clear-coated kayak. Haven't paid for either - the guy was gone for the day. Expect to offer him $200 for the two rolls. Still cheap. He said just take it to get it out of his way, but no way I would do that. Up here in the north woods we look out for each other, especially now that all the summer people are gone.
