: For those using "Leidy Lids", here is a method for tethering hatch
: covers that serves double duty as a "soft hinge" - keeps the
: hatch cover out of the sand and from being misplaced or dropped. As a
: hinge it is very forgiving of rough treatment - it can't be sprung.
: The bungee is the same one used to secure the lid.
