Hi Shawn, Nick, and Eric;

I wrote the above post hours ago, couldn't send it cuz my cable modem was down, and finally sent it when I got home a few minutes ago - - After seeing the new posts, it needs revision!

My seat is deeper in the back and shallower in the front - It is 3-1/4" deep at the "cheeks," and 1-1/8" deep at the front depressions. I arrived at this shape by test fitting, and it feels pretty comfortable with both my knees up, or my legs outstretched. Armed with the measurements I provided in the last post and this one, and your collective experience with lots of seats, what would y'all recommend? Should my front thigh depressions be rounded and lowered further? Just because it is comfortable for a few minutes doesn't mean it will be for hours.
