Hi Jim;

The biggest problem I can see is that it would be next to impossible to get the seat into the cockpit! I've been struggling with just my foam seat, and I don't know how it will be if I pre-attach the side hip supports. I'm pondering assembling the seat in the cockpit, because I'm not sure I could bend things enough to squeeze it in as a complete assembly.

This is a bigger problem for me than some have, as my beam is 24" and the coaming width is about 17-1/2" . . . That's a lot of squeezing to get it in place! And if it were fiberglassed . . . :)
