Carved Minicell Seat WE Designed :) *Pic*

Hi All;

Well, the advice was great - I lengthened, deepened, and reshaped the Minicell and it feels great to sit in. Shawn, I just about hit your recommended major dimensions right on. With the 3-1/2" rear depth of the cutout in the 4" foam, I can't even see a need for further hip bracing.

I experimented with a Lycra fabric ala Tim, and it was my final choice. It stretched and conformed to to the contours perfectly, and looks pretty slick. It only took about 20 minutes to install. The photo below doesn't quite do justice to the color and texture of the fabric (it's pretty smooth), but it gives an idea how it looks against red cedar.

Thanks again for all the help, I've got a back support to build now . . .

Best Regards, Spidey
