Thanks for the info.

I am lucky that I can heat my garage at a reasonable cost (good insulation). I leave the temperature typically between 60 and 66 F.

: Hi Andreas

: In my experience the Titebond and II usually take around 15 minutes to set
: and hold under a no stress situation and at average tempuratures( 60* to
: 90* ). Either will be cured in about an hour in those same circumstances.
: However, if it is very cold, the set and cure time will change quite a
: bit, depending on the temp.. Also, it you are bending them around the bow
: or stern forms then the pressure will tend to extend that time also. Not
: so much make the glue take longer, but require you to leave the clamps on
: a little longer. I don't know how cold it is there, but if very cold at
: all, I would leave the clamps on for at least 30 to 40 minutes for a good
: set and even a couple of hours for a total cure. That shouldn't be too
: difficult if you are alternating between sides. Anything you can do to get
: the temp. up around the normal area will decrease that time a great deal.
: Take the time in between to work on a new paddle or that brand new custom
: Carved Minicell seat you will be installing.
: Hope this helps.
