In Response To: Clamp time for Tidebond (Andreas Albat)

:I used TiteBond this summer on my Great Auk. I made two or three scarfs (12:1 planed) on each strip and was very suprised at how long it took the glue to work. It took a full 24 hours clamped before I could subject a scafed strip to the twists, bends, edge-set, and general abuse required to install it. My experience with installing strips was similar to other reports; On the days I had time for multiple strips, the glue was ready in the couple of hours it took me to strip the other side, perform a token house/yard/childcare chore, and return for the next strip.
