I use the floppy pvc fabric 'tubing'(actually is flat).

Very compact, rolls up to store, and if you cut a slice in the near end of the 'tube', you can steam selectively along the length.

Altho I haven't tried clamping it, you could almost(like 1/8in error) steam into place.(probably go easy on the clamping as I bet the pvc would get wrecked a bit)
