I am using the wet rag and iron method that Shawn mentioned( I got the idea from his website). Use a heat gun to set and dry the strip after steaming. I go ahead and glue right away. It is working well, I have most of the strips done on the hull, with no staples or cheater strips. Don't use your wife's good iron, because it really makes a mess of the bottom!
