When I was working as a patternmaker we used a lot of super glue. We also used an excellerator for super glue called "Pacer" that was supplied by the company. It came in a 2 oz. mist bottle and it instantly set the super glue when sprayed on or around it. A fellow worker said he also bought it at hobby shops for his model building. It could be much more effective then using hot glue in place of staples, but it would be hard to sand off later.
