Hi Eric,
How did you detect the failure? did you have a failure in just one area or the entire kayak? Was it plywood or a cedar boat? and my last question- Did you precoat the wood or wetout the glass over bare wood?
For someone with your experience in building to have a bond failure sure leaves me wondering the problems us amatuers can have.
