I have no experience with Chesapeake Light Craft, but I know they offer either plans or a kit on their website. I plan to make my own sometime this spring to use for a ferry trip. You might also want to check out the archives on this site...seems like just about everything is to be found there!

I would recommend your thinking about what you really need and give a whirl at designing one. My guess is that you will come up with a great design to fit your needs. Let us know what you came up with...maybe even a photo of the finished product.
