: put some legs on it to make a long skinny workbench. I screwed a couple of
: 1/2" by 3/4" strips on top to make a slot. This has been working
: well for bevelling and cutting strips to fit. This alows the strip to
: protrude a 1/4". I am building a Guillemot, and 1/8" would not
: have been enough sticking up for many of the strips.

Richard, I haven't run into not having enough strip sticking up yet, but if I do I will put a 1/8" spacer strip in the slot or just dado a second slot.
