In Response To: I use the Veritas angle jig/honing guide (Brian Nystrom)
I just thought that my plane irons and chisels were sharp before I purchased the Veritas jig and 1000/4000 water stone, you can really polish them with this setup. The jig insures that the angle is maintained while sharpening and the water stone will remove all of the imperfections or grind marks.
