Spidey, Great work!
I use velcro to hold my seats in place. I cut a piece of pvc type of fabric the shape of the bottom of the seat and sewed on 2 strips of velcro the length of the seat parallel with the center line. I glued the fabric to the seat bottom with contact cement. I used 4- 3" strips of velcro on the hull. The full lenght strips on the seat allow for for-aft seat adjustment. If you use velcro, put the hook part on the seat as it will attract a lot of sponge or towel fibers when you remove seat to mop up any water from the bilge.
