I agree with Don. You should use the No-blush hardner, especially since your pre-coating. I use the fast hardner for small chores - wood to wood bonding - it can blush pretty early in the hardning process.
For glassing, I highly recommend the no-blush.
If you're sold on your hardner choice, I would give it a good scrubbing with a scotch bright pad and soap and water first. Dry it good.
