Sure, you had to steal the duct tape idea from me, and then you worked yourself into being the varnish on the rag guru after I first mentioned it. Some friend you are. :) By the way, did you ever start buying duct tape from Costco? I was making a weekly trip there to get more when I was building the triple.

I got the no-staple tight-gap bug from Joe. I looked at one of his kayaks that was sitting next to someone elses in the "Wooden Boat Shop" on lake Union and could easily see the difference in craftsmanship. It has been my goal to make one as nice as Joe's, but I've got a ways to go. He keeps raising the bar too so I can't catch him.
