: I use them in low stress areas. Don't know too much about the difference in wt. between Micro Balloons and cabosil, but there would be some. It seems to me there is a big strength difference. Also important to me is the ability to work (sand) the two different materials; microballoons are much easier to shape and sand.

Just my 2cents.
