Finished the hull outside yesterday. I ended up after much thought (not good), putting dynel or xzole on the football with 6oz fist over all the hull. I used nearly a gallon of epoxy, that stuff is like a sponge. Really ruff on the football will need lots of sanding.

I put 9oz bias 4" tape on the stems, 33" or so. My kayak will be able to break ice I think!

That evening I went hunting and saw a very large buck but no shot in thick stuff, gonna have to get a larger boat, ha.
