: Anyone ever fill the weave with a brush and then use a squeegee to tip off?

That's exactly my method for filling the weave on the outside surface. I try to use a squeegee as much as possible, pouring a puddle in the flat areas and spreading around with a squeegee, using a combination of both on the vertical surfaces. On inside surfaces, I use the squeegee almost exclusively, pouring a puddle in the bottom and dragging up the sides, using a brush in the tight areas near the stems.
