Does anyone have any tips on how to go about painting a name on your boat? I've got a Pygmy Osprey Std that I just finished the epoxy coats on and will be starting on the varnish in a few weeks. The kit instructions say 'use sign paint before varnishing', but that's about it. Has anyone else done this? I'd love to see some pictures to see how it turns out.
They also recommend using auto detail tape or electrical tape along the sheer line for decoration. Has anyone tried these techniques? Do you think it turned out well?
