Thanks for the reply. Just got all my strips and Tom Preska's strips C&B'd this past weekend.

Do you start with the glueing of the strip around the middle of the boat lengthwise? Also, how long between dots do you wait? Have you had any let loose while curing?

Can you pretty much finish one strip, do the other side, and then do the next strip on the first side or do you have to wait a bit longer?

Also, how tough is the hot glue to scrape from a strip of cedar, redwood, pine, etc? Do you think hotglue would adhere more to some woods than others and be a PITA to remove?

Is it best to use a scraper or chisel or perhaps heated chisel to remove the glue blobs at finish?

Thanks for all the help. If I go full staple-less its gonna be your and Spideys fault when I'm not paddling until late 2001. Except using my Chessie 18.
