For a short quick answer it stands as is, but really, your wood yak'll be so overpowering it won't matter much. Maybe paint the ama very dark and put in some wood accents strips along the top. Probable best NOT(in this case) to use wood outriggers(or paint them-prob matte black) as they would be in conflict with the pvc.
