I have a problem. Stripping my first canoe (stapleless)and last night noticed a spot (bilge) where the strips have pulled away from the forms. There is a flat area that will be impossible to fair without getting the wood too thin.
The glue is dry, the strips rock hard. I remember a post by someone (Spidey??) about using a hot iron and wet towel to loosen the glue and limber the strips so they can be pulled down.
Could someone clarify the technique?
Thanks in advance
