I worked for quite a while to get the sizing correct using excel and finally gave up and drew them all out by hand. I was never confident that I had the printouts the correct size and wasn't willing to take the risk. I felt like I was spending more time checking the drawings than it was going to take doing them by hand.

I have since been able to get good results using a CAD program and the large line printer here at work and will use that on my next boat, I really like to be able to smooth out the curves using a computer rather than doing it by hand.

If you look back a few weeks there was a great thread on free cad programs available to download that you may find useful.

You may be able to import your excel data into one of these cad programs instead of having to input them all over again.
