thin kerf blade
In Response To: A couple of questions (Tom)
More and more builders are using 7 1/4 inch blades in their 10" saw for ripping strips. They can make a 7 1/4" blade much thinner than the 10 inch - so it will automatically be less strain on your saw etc. Almost any cheap $12. or so carbide tipped thin kerf blade will work great.Thinner the better. Get one with a good amount of tips.
