night heron form alignment

hey,

I am aligning my forms for the heron starting at both ends. Do I center the middle form? if i measure it from the bow it is about an inch too close to the next form. if I measure from the stern same thing. I split the difference right? The strong back is the correct length and I am using 3/4" form stock.
