Oh boy, what an opportunity!! Some thoughts:

There aren't any good foot-operated pumps in the North American market. Guzzler is the only one, and it isn't kayak-friendly right out of the box. A foot-operated piston pump (as opposed to a diaphragm pump) might move more water through the same sized pump body. Provide means for mounting to footpeg rails or to front bulkhead.

Maybe a hand pump with little swing-down "feet" like on the old style bicycle pump. You could grip it with the underside of your thighs and pump with one hand. Good hand-pump mounting/storage solutions aren't commercially available.

A battery-operated portable pump with the pump and battery compartment in one unit. Could be attached by bungies to supplied hooks that are glued to the bilge. A wired waterproof switch that could be routed to the installer's choice of locations.

A compass light could potentially be integrated to work with the pump battery source. (if batteries had sufficient reserves--you wouldn't want to lose the security of a pump to the luxury of a compass light).
