Vaclav is right. You'll definately ruin the looks of that stripper with just about any filler. I have built dams out of masking tape and poured epoxy a 1/2" thick with no problems. I didn't do this to fair a hull, but did bury a Red Tail Hawk's feather (replica) under a series of epoxy terraces on the forward deck of my Prospector. Sanded it down to a nice dome shape and turned out crystal clear. I was also using the 350 RAKA (love it). Also if your looking for something a little thicker, I have recently ordered and used the 900HP resin with the 350 hardener for glue. It's super thick and doesn't seem to sag. Just as clear. Built some beautiful laminated bow limbs out of it. Good luck!
