Paul,

Thanx your you comments, I guess I'm not alone.

Folks are talking about raising the bar....I haven't even seen the bar. I am using the many-stable, laser-less, 'trying to follow Nick's book as close as possible' technique. Where practical and within my limited skill level, I'm incorporating techniques offered here.

The advice here is very useful. I'm relying in it heavily to create a kayak that will function! It may look good when its done, but that's a bonus.
