look at the number of people reading the messages & compare it to the number
of posts. there are so many people on this board that are keeping quiet, so I figure many of them don't have socks !
I think I don't have socks too.
I build s&g for the same reasons you mentioned: it floats & it's a wonderful kayak, so if you ask me, you are exagarating.....

but one can't denie. you learn alot on this board. what am I talking about ?!
you can't make your first wooden kayak without being on this board.

& one last last thing, never be embarrassed to ask a silly question, there are so many people on this board, so there will always be few who will think any question is a silly one, hmm....well..... there will also be few others who will
answer it with intension of helpin you.
