Here it is! I've just finished my Prospector and had to show it off. The photo is a montage showing the deck with the hawk's feather under glass and some of the other touches. The accent strip is a build-up of Mahogany, Tiger Maple and Basswood, then stenciled with the quill and tip markings to simulate the hawk's feather on the bow. The bow and stern eyes are Tiger Maple blocks glued up and epoxied in place. All of the trim is Tiger Maple including the yoke. I had a blast! The wife and I took it out and it paddles like a dream.
