I finally found this image.
I got it long long ago & I can't remember where from.

the great thing about this skeg is it's hook like shaft.

with this kind of design there aren't any maintenance problems.

the actual shape of a skeg doesn't really matter.
I already built a skeg with this hook type shaft & it's very easy to build.
it is very firm yet very easy to remove.

I didn't installed it on the boat yet.

another important thing is to make the wing of 4mm plywood & NOT cover
it with glass, so when we hit the bottom the wing will break,
& not the housing !
