Hi Shawn;

Modern quantum string theory tells us there are 9 spatial dimensions and (at least) one time dimension - - It's gotta be correctly glued in at least SOME combination of those dimensions! I don't know what it would be like paddling on a Plank-length torus, however . . . :)
