I have seen some sell for good money, but not lately. I saw one sell that was "pro" built, but I saw in the little pictures that some of the ends of the wood stripes didn't line up (Left and right stripes were off by about 1/2"), it was covered with staple holes, etc... It sold for $3100 + 150 shipping.

I think part of it is the season, and part of it is the high prices put on them. I just saw one with a starting price of 5000. The one's that sell start low, but have a reserve on them, and the frenzy gets them up to a decent price.
