This past weekend I used packing tape to tape the deck to the hull and then taped/epoxied the inside seam. Now, after taking all of the packing tape off and such, I noticed there are a few small gaps between the deck and the hull. Not very large, but they are filled with epoxy. I back cut the edges of the hull and deck so the seam would fit tight, but I guess the fit wasn't as tight as I thought it was. Has this ever happened to any of you? It is a pretty sharp corner between the hull and the deck so I will be rounding the corner over a little, which will probably make the gap look a little larger. Will this be a really noticable flaw after I glass the outside joint? Should I scrape out some of the epoxy and refill with epoxy thickened with wood so it will match better?
